Srinagar to Sonmarg (84 km / ~2 hrs 30 min)

Arrive at Srinagar Bus Stand and depart for Sonmarg via Kheer Bhawani. Sonmarg — 'The Meadow of Gold' — sits at 9,000 ft in the Sindh Valley, strewn with flowers and ringed by mountains. In the evening complete RFID card formalities. Ponies can be hired to visit Thajiwas Glacier (at own cost), a major summer attraction. Overnight stay in Sonmarg.

Sonmarg to Neelkant Helipad – Amarnath Darshan (depart 4:00 AM)

Early morning departure for Sonmarg Neelkant Helipad. Board helicopter for Amarnath Cave darshan (SDR). Overnight stay at Panchtarni.

After freshen-up, depart for Srinagar. Transfer to Srinagar Bus Stand / Airport. Tour concludes.

Can NorthYatra vehicles do Gulmarg and Pahalgam sightseeing?

As per taxi union restrictions, our vehicles are not permitted for sightseeing in Gulmarg and Pahalgam. Local union vehicles must be hired directly at an additional cost.

What is GST applicable on this package?

GST at 5% is applicable over and above the package price.

Is RFID registration handled by NorthYatra?

We assist with RFID card formalities; however, the official Amarnath Shrine Board registration must be completed by the pilgrim as per government norms.
